Participate now! Consultation on FAIR Principles Assessment Tool is now live!
"
Under the 2023-2026 Data Strategy for the Federal Public Service, Data for decision-making mission, action item 2.2b calls for the development of a FAIR principles (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability) assessment tool, and guidance on assessing existing data for reuse.
TBS performed an environmental scan of existing FAIR principles assessment tools and literature to respond to action item 2.2b and identified the FAIR-Aware tool, a questionnaire developed and maintained by the Dutch national centre of expertise and repository for research data – the Data and Archiving Network Services (DANS) - as having the best potential to be adapted for use by the GC.
We want to hear from you: We’re committed to developing policy instruments collaboratively, inclusively, and in the open throughout the GC.
Since you are part of a community that may be impacted by this guidance, your feedback is vital to ensure that this adapted “FAIR Principles Assessment Tool” is complete, correct, understandable, implementable, and useful for the GC.
Participate now: From February 2 to March 15, 2024, you can provide your thoughts, comments, and feedback on the FAIR Principles Assessment Tool.
We also ask that you share the link or invite your networks to participate in this consultation.
