  DAMA Canada is hosting it's 2024 Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Study Group. Join data professionals from across Canada in an online environment to prepare for the Data Management Fundamentals Exam - the exam required to earn your CDMP certification (Associate).

  Earning your Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification is a significant achievement. Professional certification is an indication of knowledge, skills, and experience. More and more often, DAMA CDMP credentials are seen as an asset in public and private job postings. 

  The Data Management Fundamentals Exams test your knowledge of the DAMA Data Management Body of Knowledge version 2 (DMBoK2). You can obtain a copy of the DBMoK2 here.

  About the Data Management Fundamentals Exam

  The Data Management Fundamentals exam contains 100 multiple choice questions. Candidates have 90 minutes to complete the exam once started. If English is not your main language you can take the ESL version, where you will get an additional 20 minutes to complete the exam.

  The Data Management Fundamentals exam covers 14 topics.  There are 11 Knowledge areas, plus Data Management Process, Ethics, and Big Data. Each chapter will be covered throughout the Study Group sessions, and the Study Group includes practice questions and a practice exam.
